Everything we release at Claynosaurz is deliberate, guided by our Concept Artists. We go through many iterations behind-the-scenes. It allows us to explore ideas that work, and filter out those that dont.

Art Direction is our lifeblood. Every character and design choice is curated. Our goal was to build a cohesive, universal design and color palette that appeals to all ages and tastes. It’s important that our style lends itself to television, film, toys, and video games.

When a piece is creatively approved, we begin to build it in 3D. Our Modeller, Bruno, sculpts the asset in the software using the concept art as reference.

Every species goes through an extensive design process. Skins and patterns are imagined by our concept artists, and handed off to our texture team. The 2D and 3D artists work very closely together to maximize quality and efficiency.
